Light As A Feather Hot Cakes
Light as a feather hotcakes are griddle cooked pancakes like preparation made with eggs and flour. Combined with milk and shortening, the light as a feather hotcakes are perfect for breakfast or supper when served with toppings of choice.
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Salad oil/Melted shortening||2 Tablespoon|
|Enriched flour||1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 Tablespoon|
Combine egg, milk (for fat, fluffy cakes, use smaller amount), and shortening.
Add sifted dry ingredients; beat smooth.
Bake on a hot griddle. (Pour the batter from 1/4 cup measure.)
