Spinach Oyster Loaves

Ingredients
  Frozen spinach 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sliced fresh mushrooms 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce (1 Pack)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  French bread slices 4
  Butter 1 1⁄3 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Raw oysters 16 , undrained
  Cream sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bacon slices 8 , cooked and crumbled
Directions

MAKING
1) Into a saucepan, place the spinach and cook following the package directions
2) Into a skillet, melt some butter and saute the mushrooms till soft
3) Lower the heat and tip in the cream, cheese, salt and pepper stirring till all the cheese has melted
4) Add in the cooked spinach
5) Onto each slice of bread, spread a teaspoon of butter, sprinkle in garlic powder and toast
6) Into a colander, drain the oysters, reserving 1 tablespoon of the liquid
7) Mix together the oyster liquid and sherry into a pan
8) Add in the oysters and cook for about 10 minutes till the edges start to curl
9) Onto the toasted read, divide evenly the spinach mixture and the oyster

SERVING
10) Sprinkle each toast with the crumbled bacon and serve warm
