Seasoned Scalloped Oysters
|Diced celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Coarsely crushed soda crackers/Coarsely crushed common crackers||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shucked oysters||1 Pint, lightly drained|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon, cut up small|
|Warm milk/Cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oyster crackers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Dipped In Milk)|
Cook celery until tender in a little water in covered pan.
Butter 1-quart baking dish, cover bottom with crumbs, and add a layer of celery and oysters.
Sprinkle with seasonings, dot with butter, and repeat.
End with cracker crumbs and butter dots.
Top off with oyster crackers dipped in milk.
Bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
