Broiled Oysters With Watercress
|Watercress||1 Bunch (100 gm), stalks trimmed off and leaves finely chopped|
|Cream||65 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Pinch|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Oysters||12 , cleaned and top shells removed|
|Dried white bread crumbs||2 Tablespoon|
Preheat the broiler to moderate.
Put the watercress, cream, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and salt in a small saucepan and cook over low heat until the watercress is cooked.
Rub the mixture through a fine sieve into a small bowl and stir in the cheese.
Lay the oysters on a broiler pan.
Spoon the sauce equally over each oyster and sprinkle with the bread crumbs.
Place the pan under the broiler for 5 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbling.
