Oysters With Buttered Crumbs
|Shucked oysters||1 Pint, cut into halves|
|Half and half||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Crushed soda crackers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (About 20 Squares)|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Dash|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted|
Arrange oysters in round baking dish, 8 X 1 1/2 inches; pour half-and-half over oysters.
Mix crackers, salt, pepper, nutmeg and margarine; sprinkle over oys-ters.
Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 4 minutes; rotate baking dish 1/2 turn.
Microwave until oysters are hot, 3 to 6 minutes longer.
