Oysters A La Casino
|Oysters||2 Dozen (On Half Shell)|
|Seeded green pepper||1⁄4 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Roquefort cheese||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Chop green pepper and onion very fine and combine them.
Cut the bacon slices with scissors into thirds crosswise and in halves lengthwise.
Melt butter with Roquefort cheese and add Worcestershire sauce.
Place piece of bacon on each oyster; then spread each with a little of the green pepper and onion mixture; top all with a little of the butter and cheese mixture dropped from the point of a spoon.
Arrange oysters on shells on the broiler rack, place under a medium broiler heat, and broil from 10 to 15 minutes, or until oysters are tender.
