Oysters Romano

Oyesters romano is a peppy baked oyster preparation. Made with oyesters on half shells, layered with bacon and a cooked garlic breadcrumb mix, the oysters are baked with cheese topping. Garnished with fresh chives, it makes a great side for any meal.
Ingredients
  Oysters 12 , shucked and on the half shell
  Bacon slices 2 , cut into 1-inch pieces
  Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated romano/Parmesan / provolone cheese 6 Tablespoon
  Fresh chives 1 Teaspoon (For Garnish)
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Place shells with oysters on baking sheet.
Top each oyster with 1 piece bacon.
Bake 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Meanwhile, combine bread crumbs, butter and garlic salt in small bowl.
Spoon mixture over oysters; top with cheese.
Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
