Easy Scalloped Oysters With Crackers
|Oysters||12 Ounce (2 Containers)|
|Saltine cracker crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Divided)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Half and half/Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Hot sauce||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Drain oysters, reserving 1/3 cup oyster liquor.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup cracker crumbs in a lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish.
Layer half each of oysters, salt, pepper, butter, and cracker crumbs in dish.
Combine eggs, half and half, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and reserved oyster liquor; mix well.
Pour over oyster mixture.
Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
