Drawn Butter Sauce
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Blend the flour into half the butter or margarine.
2. Gradually add the hot water, stir and cook 3 minutes or until a smooth, thickened sauce results. Add the salt.
3. Let the rest of the butter or margarine stand in a warm place until it separates, then pour the liquid fat into the hot sauce and beat until smooth.
