|Diced bacon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|10 inch unbaked pastry shell||1|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Use White Variety)|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Fry the bacon for 5 minutes in a skillet and pour off about half of the fat.
Add onion and mushrooms and cook until onion is soft.
Turn contents of skillet into the pastry shell and sprinkle with cheese.
Pour a mixture of eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg over cheese.
Bake at 350Â°F 30 to 35 minutes, or until lightly browned.
