Jellied Holiday Egg Nog
|Gelatin/One 6 ounce package||6 Ounce (Two 3 Ounce Package)|
|Vanilla pudding||6 1⁄2 Ounce (Two 4.25 Ounce Package/ Jell-O Vanilla Pudding And Pie Filling)|
|Water||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Whipped topping mix||1⁄2 Ounce (Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix)|
|Rum extract||1 Teaspoon|
Combine gelatin, pudding mix, and sugar in a large saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
Remove from heat.
Chill until thickened.
Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on package.
Thoroughly blend prepared whipped topping, rum extract, vanilla, and nutmeg into the thickened pudding mixture.
Pour into a large serving bowl or punch bowl.
Chill until firm at least 4 hours or overnight.
Garnish with cherries and mint leaves, and serve with cranberry orange sauce, if desired.
