Arepas is a delicious recipe which I always love to have. I bet, once you have this Arepas, you will always crave for some more.
3 Cup (48 tbs)
Grated white cheese
1 Cup (16 tbs)
White corn meal
2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
PREPARATION bring water and salt to a boil in a deep saucepan.
Stir in corn meal cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Cool shape into 3-inch patties, 1/2 inch thick.
Cook on ungreased griddle until crust forms, turning to cook both sides.
Place patties, standing, around the edge of a casserole.
Bake at 400Â° for 1 hour, or until bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Serve hot, spread with butter and sprinkled with grated cheese
