The sausage peppers and onion skillet is simple dinner recipe that can be prepared as a one pot or pan meal. Cooked in a skillet with all the ingredients like beef sausage, bell peppers, spanish onions flavored with garlic, thyme and white wine, the sausage peppers and onion skillet is a peppy and flavorful recipe.
Ingredients
  Fully cooked beef polish sausage 12 Ounce
  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Green bell peppers/Red bell peppers 2 Large, cut lengthwise into 0.5 inch thick wedges
  Spanish onions 1 Medium, cut crosswise into 0.5 inch thick slices (Separated Into Rings)
  Garlic cloves 1 Large, crushed
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dry white wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dried thyme leaves 3⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
Add bell peppers, onion and garlic; cook 8-10 minutes or until crisp tender, stirring occasionally.
Add beef sausage, water, wine (if desired) and thyme to skillet.
Cover; continue cooking 10-12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
