Sausage, Peppers And Onion Skillet Pinner
|Fully cooked beef polish sausage||12 Ounce|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Green bell peppers/Red bell peppers||2 Large, cut lengthwise into 0.5 inch thick wedges|
|Spanish onions||1 Medium, cut crosswise into 0.5 inch thick slices (Separated Into Rings)|
|Garlic cloves||1 Large, crushed|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dried thyme leaves||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
Add bell peppers, onion and garlic; cook 8-10 minutes or until crisp tender, stirring occasionally.
Add beef sausage, water, wine (if desired) and thyme to skillet.
Cover; continue cooking 10-12 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
