Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in buttertill crumbly.
Combineegg and milk; add all at once to dry ingredients.
Stir just till all dry ingredients are moistened.
Continue as directed in recipe.
