Broiled Oranges

Lovely and juicy, these broiled oranges is a dessert invention that goes especially well for brunches or an outdoor party in the summer. Falvored with vermouth and filled with cherries, the oranges are broiled lightly and served warm.
Ingredients
  Navel oranges 3 Large
  Sweet vermouth 3 Tablespoon
  Black cherries with stems 36
Directions

Cut oranges in half; cut around sections with fruit knife.
Drizzle vermouth over oranges.
Broil 3 inches from heat until oranges are hot through (about 5 minutes).
Place one cherry in center of each orange half.
Arrange remaining cherries around oranges on plates.
