Orange, Fennel and Onion Salad
|Navel oranges||3 , peeled, pith removed and sliced|
|Red onion||1 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Thinly sliced fennel||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped mint||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Red pepper flakes||1⁄8 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Red wine vinegar||1 Teaspoon|
|Salt/Salt substitute||To Taste|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
1) Make the slices of oranges, fennel and onion.
2) Keep the oranges, onion and fennel slices in six serving plates. Sprinkle red pepper flakes and mint.
3) Take the oil, vinegar, salt or substitute and pepper in a bowl. Mix them well.
4) Drizzle the dressing over the salad before serving.
