|Shortening||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Sifted all purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||2 Teaspoon|
|Fresh orange juice||6 Tablespoon|
|Orange marmalade||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Teaspoon, chopped|
Cut shortening into flour and salt.
Add rind and enough orange juice to hold mixture together.
Roll out tiny pieces of dough to 1/8-inch thickness on floured board.
Fit pieces over backs of tiny scalloped tart pans.
Put on cookie sheet and prick bottoms with fork.
Bake in preheated hot oven (425°F.) for about 10 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove gently from pans.
Cool; put 1 teaspoon marmalade in each.
Sprinkle with nuts.
