Orange Roll-Ups

Delight in the deliciously prepared orange roll-ups, gently flavored with cinnamons. Best served hot as a tea-time snack.
Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Pint
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Whole bran cereal 1⁄2 Pint
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Grated orange rind 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine 1/4-cup butter, 1/2-cup sugar, orange juice and rind.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly till sugar has dissolved and mixture has boiled for about 2 minutes.
Spread this mixture over the bottom of 12 muffin cups.
Now combine the wholebran cereal and milk and allow to stand until most of the moisture is absorbed.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in 1/3-cup butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add the cereal mixture stirring only till combined.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and knead lightly a few times.
Roll into a 12" x 6" rectangle.
Brush with the 1 tblspn, melted butter, sprinkle with the remaining 1/4-cup sugar, mixed with the cinnamon.
Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 1" slices.
Place cut side down in orange mixture.
Bake at 450° F for about 20 minutes.
Serve warm-DELISCH!
