|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||3 , broken|
Add enough water to whole oranges to cover in saucepan, then bring to a boil.
Boil for 20 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.
Drain and cut into eighths.
Combine the sugar, 1 1/4 cups water, vinegar, cloves and cinnamon in a large saucepan, then simmer, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil, then add the orange pieces and simmer about 20 minutes.
Spoon into hot sterilized jars and seal.
