Sparkling Orange Dessert

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Unsweetened orange drink mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Granulated fructose 1 Teaspoon
  Mandarin orange slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Sprinkle gelatin over water in a saucepan.
Allow gelatin to soften for 5 minutes.
Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve gelatin.
Remove from heat.
While hot, stir in orange-drink mix and fructose.
Chill until the consistency of egg whites.
Stir in mandarin orange slices.
Transfer to four dessert dishes.
Chill until firm.
