Orange Sugar Cookies
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Divided)|
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (Fleischmann's)|
|Grated orange peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
In medium bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat 3/4 cup sugar, margarine, orange peel and vanilla until creamy.
Add Egg Beaters®; beat 1 minute.
Gradually stir in flour mixture until blended.
Cover; refrigerate dough 1 hour.
Shape dough into 42 (3/4-inch) balls; roll in remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
Place on lighdy greased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
Remove from cookie sheets.
Cool on wire racks.
