Creamed Potatoes With Spring Onions

The creamed potatoes with spring onions is a wonderfully flavorful vegetarian recipe that can be served as a side. Made with potatoes cooked and mashed along with sauteed spring onions and single cream, the creamed potaoes are seasoned to taste.
Ingredients
  Potatoes 12 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Spring onions 1 Bunch (100 gm), cleaned
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Ounce
  Single cream 1 Tablespoon
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

Peel and cut the potatoes into even sized pieces, then cook in boiling salted water for 25-30 minutes.
Meanwhile chop up the spring onions [scallions].
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onions and cook for 10-15 minutes until soft.
