Onion Tart With Anchovies And Black Olives

Ingredients
  Tart shell 1 (20 Cm Partly Baked Made With Pate Brisee)
  Onions 1 Kilogram
  Cooking oil 4 Tablespoon
  Parsley sprigs 4 Small
  Thyme sprig 2
  Bay leaves 2
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Powdered cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Anchovy fillets 8
  Pitted black olives 16
Directions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In the work bowl, chop the onions, herbs and garlic.
Cook them very slowly in the oil for approximately 1 hour or until tender.
Add the salt, cloves and pepper, and mix well.
Spread the mixture in the pastry shell.
Decorate with the anchovy fillets and the black olives.
Bake in top part of the oven for 10-15 minutes.
