Dill Onion Rings

|Onion||1 Large, thinly sliced into rings|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|White vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place onion in small bowl or pack into a 2 cup jar.
Combine sugar, salt, dill weed, vine gar and water in small saucepan; heat to boiling.
Pour liquid over onion rings.
Cover tightly and chill overnight.
