|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Ears of corn||8|
In small mixing bowl, combine dry onion soup mix butter and salt; mix well.
Spread each ear of com with 1 tablespoon mixture.
Wrap tightly in foil.
Bake at 425°C or grill over hot coals for 30 to 35 minutes until tender.
Serve with additional butter, if desired.
May use frozen ears of com.
Spread each frozen ear (do not thaw) with 1 tablespoon mixture.
Wrap tightly in foil and bake as described above for 35 to 40 minutes.
Add a little foreign intrigue to fresh or frozen peas.
