Dill Liver And Onion
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Beef liver||1 Pound, sliced (or pork liver)|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced|
|Dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Stir together flour, salt and pepper.
Coat liver with flour mixture.
Melt shortening in large skillet; brown liver over medium heat.
Reduce heat; sprinkle liver with onion and dill.
Cover tightly; simmer 20 minutes.
