Onion Soup Mix - Lynn's

Lynn demonstrates how to make your own Onion Soup Mix that can be used to make soup or onion dip. This is similar to the dry onion soup mixes that you can purchase in the grocery store. You can also sprinkle this mixture over a roast in the slow cooker for a great flavor.
Ingredients
  Instant dehydrated minced onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Beef bouillon powder 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Onion powder 4 Teaspoon
  Celery seeds 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a medium – large bowl take all the ingredients and mix well.
2. Place in an airtight container and store.

SERVING
3. Make soup and serve for dinner.

TIPS
To make soup, bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add 4 Tablespoons of mix and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Mmmmmmm, boil some sliced onion, add a slice of toasted french bread, and cheese, and viola, French onion soup!
