Gilded Onions

Ingredients
  Onions 4
  Honey 50 Milliliter
  Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Dijon mustard 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Cut off tops and bottoms of onions; remove outer skin.
Place onions in saucepan and add enough water to come to depth of 1 inch (2.5 cm); cover and bring to boil.
Reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes or until tender.
Drain and transfer onions to small greased casserole.
Honey-Mustard Glaze: In small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce and mustard; cook over medium heat, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Pour over onions and bake, uncovered, in 350°F (180°C) oven, basting occasionally, for 30 to 40 minutes or until heated through and glazed.
Cut each onion in half to serve.
