Onions Italiano

Ingredients
  Tiny pearl onions 1 Pound, peeled
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  White wine vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
  Tomato paste 3 Tablespoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped parsley 1 Teaspoon
  Seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1) In a pan, add the onions and all the other ingredients together.
2) Cook the onion mixture over a low heat for about 30 minutes.
3) Allow the mixture to cool, then refrigerate until chilled.

SERVING
4) Serve the Onions Italiano in a large cutglass bowl along with meat.
