Pea Pods And Onions With Dill Butter
|Frozen small whole onions||16 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Frozen pea pods||12 Ounce (2 Packages. 6-Ounce Each)|
|Garlic/1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Snipped fresh dill/1 teaspoon dried dill weed||1 Tablespoon|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Cook onions in a small amount of boiling water in a large saucepan for 2 minutes.
Add pea pods and cook 2 to 3 minutes more or just until tender, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook garlic in hot butter in a small saucepan for 30 seconds.
Stir in dill, salt, and white pepper.
Drizzle over vegetables, tossing to coat.
Garnish with fresh dill sprigs, if desired.
