Savory Onion Cheese Tart
|Onion soup mix||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Rosemary leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Mozzarella cheese||8 Ounce, shredded (1 Package)|
|Refrigerated pie crusts||15 Ounce (1 Package)|
1)Preheat the oven to 375° 2) Blend golden onion soup mix, milk, egg and rosemary and stir in cheese.
3) Freeze the mixture for 1 hour or refrigerate at least 2 hours until mixture is slightly thickened.
4) On aluminum-foil-lined baking sheets, unfold pie crusts.
5)Fold crust edges over 1 inch to form rim.
6) If required brush with 1 egg yolk beaten with 2 tablespoons water.
7)Fill center of each prepared crust with 1/2 soup mixture; spread evenly to rim.
8)Bake 25 minutes or until crusts are golden brown.
SERVING 9)Before serving cut into wedges.
