Branding Iron Onions
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Seasoned salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 Large (california fresh)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sweet onion||1 Large, thinly sliced|
Mix flour, paprika, salt and cayenne. Separately mix egg and milk together well. Dredge onions in flour/spice mixture, then dip in egg-milk mixture and then toss back into flour-spice mixture. Separate into strings. Fry in oil at 375ºF. until golden brown. Drain well.
