|White onions/40 pickling onions, peeled but left whole||20 Small, halved lengthwise|
|Butter||60 Gram (2 Ounce)|
|Soft brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil, add onions and cook for 5 minutes. Drain well and pat dry on paper towels.
2. Heat butter in a large frying pan. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add onions and cook for 5-10 minutes, shaking pan constantly to turn them over in glaze and prevent them from sticking. When onions are golden brown, transfer them to a heated dish and serve.
