Baked Onions

Ingredients
  Red onions/Yellow onions 8 Medium
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Minced parsley 2 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Start oven, set at 350° F., Moderate. Rub a 1 1/2-quart baking dish with butter or margarine.
2. Peel onions under water and cut in halves crosswise. Place them in the baking dish. Mix salt, paprika, sugar, and sprinkle over the onions.
3. Bake 20 minutes.
4. Melt the butter or margarine, sprinkle it over the onions, then continue to bake 30 minutes or longer, until completely tender. Top with parsley.
