Toasted Croissants with Mushrooms Onions and Melted Cheese
|Onions||2 Small, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|French mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Mushrooms||6 Medium, sliced|
|Melting cheese||4 Ounce, thinly sliced (100 gram, good quality)|
Fry the onion in a little oil till soft and transparent.
It will take a good 10 minutes to turn soft and golden.
After 5 minutes or so, add the mushrooms and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Split the croissants horizontally.
Spread them generously with mustard.
Scoop the onions and mushrooms from the pan with a draining spoon and place on the bottom halves of croissants.
Arrange the cheese on top and place under a hot grill till melted.
Add the warmed top halves and eat while still hot.
