Sardines with Tomatoes and Red Onion
|Fresh plum tomatoes||500 Gram, sliced|
|Red onion||1⁄2 , finely sliced|
|Canned sardines||200 Gram, drained, rinsed (2 Tins)|
|Dried oregano||3 Pinch|
|Dried red chili flakes||1 Pinch|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Balsamic vinegar||To Taste|
|Marjoram leaves||1 Tablespoon (Fresh)|
|Black olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Handful Of)|
Arrange the tomato slices on a serving plate so that they overlap.
Scatter with red onion slices.
Arrange the sardines carefully over the tomatoes.
Sprinkle the sardines with oregano, chilli flakes and freshly ground black pepper.
Drizzle a little balsamic vinegar over the plate.
Garnish with some fresh marjoram leaves and black olives.
Serve at room temperature.
