Glazed Onions and Raisins
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
Peel onions and drop into a pan of boiling water, to blanch, for 6-7 minutes, drain well.
Melt butter in a pan, add sugar, salt, pepper, onions and raisins.
Cover and cook gently for 12-15 minutes, shaking pan and stirring occasionally, until onions are tender and well glazed.
Remove onions and raisins and place in a bowl, sprinkle with oil, toss and chill.
