Oven Glazed Onions

Ingredients
  Small white onions 1 Pound, peeled
  Boiling salted water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (1/2 Stick)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Parboil onions in boiling salted water in large saucepan 15 to 20 minutes, until almost tender; drain.
2. Melt butter or margarine in 6-cup shallow baking dish in oven; stir in brown sugar, lemon juice, salt and ginger. Roll each onion in mixture and arrange in single layer in dish; cover.
3. Bake in slow oven (325°), turning onions 2 to 3 times, for 30 minutes, or until tender and golden.
