|Balsamic vinegar/Red wine vinegar mixed with 1 teaspoon sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Cut unpeeled onions in half, from stem end to root end. Pour balsamic vinegar into an 11 x 7 x 2-inch glass baking dish. Place onions cut side down in dish. Cover with foil.
2. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, until onions are tender but still hold their shape. Remove skins and cut each onion half into 3 wedges each.
