Baked Red Onions

Ingredients
  Red onions 2 Large
  Red wine vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Water 3 Teaspoon
  Granulated sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground sage 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Margarine 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Peel and cut onions in half crosswise.
Place side by side, cut side up, in a shallow 8 in. (20 cm) baking pan.
In a small bowl, blend together the vinegar, water, sugar replacement, salt, sage and mustard.
Pour over onion halves.
Cover tightly.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 to 60 minutes or until onions are tender.
