|Red onions/Spanish onions||2 Large, peeled and sliced into thin rounds|
|Regular salt/Kosher salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Adjust Quantity As Per Taste)|
|Light brown sugar/Honey / 1/8 cup bourbon||2 Teaspoon|
|Chicken stock||4 Tablespoon|
1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add the oil. When the oil is hot, add the onions and salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, about 15 minutes.
2. Reduce heat to low and incrementally stir in the sugar and stock. Cook until liquid is completely absorbed, about 5-10 minutes.
