Onion Sour Cream Pie
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs) (To Make Rich Biscuit Dough)|
|Baking onions||7 Medium|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (4 Tablespoons)|
|Commercial sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Line an 8-inch-square or round pan with biscuit dough; chill.
Slice onions and saute in butter until clear; spread over biscuit dough.
Beat eggs slightly and blend in sour cream, salt, and pepper; pour over onions.
Bake in a very hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes; reduce heat to moderate (350°) and continue baking 45 minutes longer, or until filling has set.
