Potatoes With Onions Au Gratin sounded terrific when a friend told me and I praise my decision to try it out. I made this Potatoes With Onions Au Gratin for my dinner party last night and I became a star. Happy cooking!
Ingredients
  Potatoes 450 Gram, peeled, cut into chunks
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (80 ml)
  Onions 225 Gram, finley sliced
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Gruyere/Parmesan cheese 3 Tablespoon, grated
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

–  Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, cook potatoes, then drain, puree in the food processor and set aside.
–  In a skillet, melt 4 tbsp (60 ml) butter and saute onions and add onion mixture to puree. Add egg, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and stir mixture.
–  Butter a baking dish, then spread puree evenly. Sprinkle with cheese and dot with butter. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden crust forms.
