Ingredients
  Chopped yellow onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), peeled
  Mayonnaise 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rye bread 1 , thinly sliced (Party Or Cocktail Variety)
  Grated cheese 2 Tablespoon (Parmesan/Romano)
Directions

Mix the onion and the mayonnaise.
Spread on a tiny bread slice, and top with a bit of cheese.
Broil for a few minutes until the top is just a bit browned.
