Onions Sauteed With Peppers
|Yellow onions||4 , peeled and sliced|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Olive oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Green peppers||2 , sliced|
|Red bell peppers||2 , sliced|
|Tomato paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Red wine||3 Tablespoon|
|Freshly grated parmesan cheese/Freshly grated romano cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Saute the onions and the garlic in the oil just until tender.
Add the peppers, and saute for a few minutes more.
Stir in all remaining ingredients except for the cheese.
Place in a small, deep baking dish or casserole, and top with the cheese.
Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.few minutes.
Drain and cool them.
The onions can be peeled in a few minutes.
