Dried Fruit Crisp
|Mixed dried fruits||1⁄2 Pound|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon (Of 1/2 Lemon)|
|Brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Granola||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place the dried fruits in a bowl, cover with cold water and leave to soak overnight.
Drain well, then place in a pan with 150 ml/1/4 pint (2/3 cup) fresh water, the honey and lemon juice.
Bring to the boil, cover and cook gently for about 20 minutes until the fruit is tender.
Turn into a 600 ml/1 pint (2 1/2 cup) ovenproof dish.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the sugar and muesli (granola).
Mix well then sprinkle it over the fruits.
Place under a preheated moderate grill (broiler) until golden brown.
Serve warm with cream or yogurt.
