Spinach Elegante

  Frozen welsh rarebit 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Bacon slices 8
  Frozen chopped spinach 20 Ounce (2 Packages, 10 Ounce Each)
  Canned water chestnuts 4 Ounce, drained and sliced (1/2 Cup, 1/2 Of 8 Ounce Package)
  Canned french fried onions 18 Ounce (1/2 Of 3 Cans, 12 Ounce Each)

Remove frozen rarebit from foil pan; place in 1-quart casserole.
Place casserole in counter-top microwave oven.
Cook, covered with casserole cover, for 5 minutes, stirring once.
Set aside.
Place bacon between paper towels in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish (layer bacon and towels, if necessary).
Place in counter-top microwave oven.
Cook 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove bacon and towels.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
Drain off excess bacon drippings from baking dish.
Place spinach in same baking dish.
Cover with waxed paper.
Place in counter-top microwave oven and cook 6 minutes, stirring once.
Season with salt.
Stir water chestnuts and 1/3 cup of the rarebit into spinach.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Spread remaining rarebit atop.
Top with onion rings.
Place in counter-top microwave oven.
Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or till hot.
Makes 6 servings.
