In mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; beat until well mixed.
Melt butter in 9-inch pie plate (30 sec).
Pour in egg mixture.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Cook 1 minute, 15 seconds; stir to move cooked edges toward center.
Cover again with plastic wrap and cook 1 minute.
Let stand, covered, at least 1 minute before loosening with rubber scraper, folding over and sliding onto serving plate.
If underside is softer than you prefer, return omelet on serving plate to oven for an additional 30 to 60 seconds.
