Olives On Horseback
|Pimento stuffed green olives||30 Large|
|Mature cheddar cheese||8 Ounce, grated (250 Gram)|
|Streaky bacon rashers||10 , derinded|
Halve the olives lengthways and scoop out the pimento.
Finely chop the pimento and mix thoroughly into the cheese.
Stuff the olive halves with the cheese mixture and press the halves back together.
Stretch the bacon rashers with the back of a knife, then cut each rasher into 3 pieces.
Wrap each stuffed olive in a piece of bacon and secure with a wooden cocktail stick.
Grill the olives for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crisp.
