|Smoked bacon||4 , cut into cubed|
|Okra pods||1 Pound, trimmed|
|Rice wine vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Fill the bottom of a steamer with water, add the bacon, and bring to a boil, making sure there is not enough water to boil up through the holes in the bottom of the steamer basket.
Put the okra into the basket, cover, and steam for 3 to 4 minutes, until fork tender.
Turn immediately into a warm serving dish, toss with the vinegar, and serve.
